Repainting the bumper
The bumper was rusted and missing paint in a few areas. I used a wire brush and a sander and cleaned most of the loose paint. One spot near the end needed Bondo, so I repaired that back when I had repaired the other areas on the camper before the paint. The spare tire holder in the middle needed a good soaking with Break Away (I think it is superior to WD-40, but does not smell near as good!). I then primed the metal and painted it with black spray paint intended for use on farm equipment. I signed up for Tractor Supply Member Rewards and received a coupon for $5 off any one regular priced item, so all I ended up paying was the tax for this can. I also used this on the fenders.
